Default SSR Competitions on a teg

Hey guys. My search for Volk Gram Lights hit an empass with the offset problem. I think I may go with 16x7 SSR Comps instead (all in all, only a $500 CDN difference). Anyone got pics of them on a teg? Preferrably a black one? That's what my car is.

Thanks

Not bad. Yeah one or two of those look fake.

Is the white teg on 16's or 17's? I wonder... getting the 16's so I'm wondering if they'll will look ok.

ricer question--- who makes the fakes? how much are they?

i want to wonder if they are like Rotas. Rotas make really good cheap fakes. I like them, Just wondering if they or anyone else make good fakes for the ssrs?

What's the difference between the fakes and the real ones? Both cosmetic difference and technical (strength, weight, etc) differences.

Thanks,
Ben

in 16's the real ones are 11 lbs and the fakes ones are 15 lbs as stated by one of the sellers on ebay. as far as structural integrity goes, the fakes are casted and the real ones are SSF...

Not everyone has alot of money to drop on rims.. For someone that just wants decent looking rims for driving to work and or school... Nothing wrong with replicas.

You know it. I'd never get the fakes, I do not believe in copies or knock offs. Would never put a 'copy' of anything on my car.

However, it is true that some people don't have the cash to drop on rims (I JUST got enough after saving), so I don't think badly of people who get copies. I think badly of people who make the SSR sticker and put it on their wheel, or try to claim they have something they don't (the real thing). That irritates me

But when one lays down the cash for rims like this, one can see how some people prefer the copies

but in the long run, what do you really gain by getting the real ones vs. a decent knock-off?

I remember seeing the replicas somewhere on ebay but I can't find it with a search now. Does anyone know where to get them?
