Rear crossmember moved after prepping for B series swap
I'm prepping my engine bay for my HCP mount kit, I tried the rear mount and marked out the area on the lip to bend down. At this time I was able to get bolts in all the holes. After bending the lip down it seems that the rear crossmember physically moved back. Now it's too close to the firewall and the mount hits the firewall so I'm not able to get the back two bolts in. How do I move the crossmember back forward?
How hard did you hit it? I had no problem.
Th back bolt is no walk in the park anyways. Can you just get a big pry bar and pry it forward?

U must have swung at that rear cross member with a wrecking ball to be able to push it back! I loosened the four bolts that hold up the rear crossmember so that it dropped low enough for me to gain access to the rear bolt holes for the mount.
Ok I got a little carried away with swinging the big hammer, I'll have to take a look and try to find the rear crossmember mount points, loosen them up put the mount on and then tighten them back up. I started with a hammer that would have worked fine but then I saw this huge *** hammer in my garage and had to try it.
