I know this is OT, so I 'll keep it short...

Temp FINALLY went above 10 degrees today (that's celcius, don't ask me what that is in crazy American temp, prolly like 50???45???)...so I took the R out. It's been hibernating since the end of last September ...ahhh all that V-Tech gooey sweetness...I had forgotten how nice that sound was...I had also forgotten how many looks the car garners...(must keep an eye out for any teefs looking to pinch her). She's back in the safety of the garage now which is booby-trapped with the usual melange of barbwire, claymores and doggy-doo.
Now if it would just go above 20 so I can break out the real monster...my precious...see sig

Oh, by the way, I'm looking for a good price on RS door handles...went to the dealership today and they want $48 bucks each!!!! There must be a better place to get them, even if I have to pay in USD, any hints????

i just unpluged my power locks. the metal thing is still there but doesn't work.

 

if the metal thing is there, theives will still want to try to stick something in there and unlock the doors. If you don't have them, then there's no reason for them to stick anything in there.

a little math for you:

Celsius to Farenheit conversion = Celsius Degrees x 9/5 + 32 = Farenheit

 

I think they price exterior door handles for you. . .
