i have a STD hatch that burns oil...what are my options for engine swaps?
will the stock 1.5 from a DX or the 1.6 from an SI bolt right up to the 4 speed tranny? how difficult would it be to swap to a 5 speed tranny?

The DX would be "easier" bc. you wouldn't have to change from DPFI to MPFI. Either engine will bolt up to the 5 speed. It's not that difficult to swap in the 5 speed tranny. You can use your STD axles w/ it.

you can have the engine in my sig for free. Its from a 92 cx. just come pic it up. no deliveries. im in charlotte.
