i already got all the emblems front and back shaved.. spoiler hole shaved.. few dings and dents pulled out.. the side moldings are coming off monday.. i couldn't do the trunk keyhole because of it being attach to the latch also.. i might do antenna.. what else guys? its being painted gunmetal.. pics of shaving and gunmetal cars with paint code would be nice.. thanks

 

If you arent running a front liscense plate, shave the screw holes in the bumper. Other than that i cant think of any thing else.

 

no front plate looks amazing......but i've received 2 tickets for it, so it's back on

 

I have heard of people filling the embossed "INTEGRA" in the front and rear bumpers, but other people prefer to have it on there.

If you want the center bar taken out of the front bumper opening, now is the time to do it so they can smooth and fill the notches left when you remove the bar.

I agree with the above. If you are going to shave the emblems, might as well fill in the Integra logo. I did it on my teg and it looked really clean imo.

 

actually guys i got the ww rsII lip.. the bar has already been cut and filled and the tag holes have been filled already, so have the integra letters.. lol!! i'm running outta stuff guys!! thanks for replies

 

Only other thing I can think of is to swap 4dr rear door handles to the front.

Even though it's going in Monday, you don't need a set asap. You can go to Acura or some acura related site to buy the doorhandles. Or your body shop should be able to get you some.

Hahah, when I got mine repainted, I have my emblem shaved, and if I was smart, I would of had the INTEGRA filled in. to me.

 

oh yea i need this asap because the car is only going to be in there 3 days and its a daily driver and only sort of transportation.. but yea the body shop said they would call the junkyard for me monday and sand down everything before painting.. i got the TOP roof nozzle shaved too.. where you spray water out

 

One thing I would suggest, while your car is in the shop, is to show up
un-expectandtly(sp) just to make sure they are doing what they are suppose
to be doing. Afer I dropped mine off I went back the next day to see how far they had got, found out the car wasn't there, Apparently they needed to test drive it first? so wnt home, called my Dad, he got his lawyer and went to the body shop, they took $650 off the total of the cost, was extremely pissed, the odometer had an extra 50 miles on it.

 

Where in Florida was this? So I could stay away from them

 

ouch sorry to hear that.. its actually a good friend of mines bodyshop, he's doing all the bodywork for me.. just gotta pay the painter..
