Default need some help on 1 bad cylinder

damn, my sohc vtec cylinder went bad and i was wondering how much would the shop fix it, cuz its at the shop right now and i wanna know how much they usually charge people for a bad cylinder. cuz i dont wanna get ripe off by the shop. any adice or past experience would help me know. aite thanks alot.

I don't know how much they're going to charge you, but I do know that it's going to be expensive. Your engine needs to be rebuilt.

depends on what happend and what the results were of the malfunction ie: spun bearing.. damaged crank..new crank.. bent valve...new valve...new spring...new retainer... head job... gasket kit ... and so on you really wont know how much its going to be untill you know whats wrong i would check your plugs first if you didnt already..
