Headlights on = radio static
In my 93 EX, whenever I turn on my headlights I get a small, yet annoying, amount of static in my speakers. Its really bad if I flip over to radio. Is this common for 92-95 civics? Anybody know of anything to check. It sounds to me like something isn't grounded properly or its not clean.
Any suggestions?
P.S. I did do a search so don't yell at me if this topic has been covered

I figured it out.
For those with the same problem, run a separate ground wire to your headunit. I ran the wire to a metal bracket right behind the ashtray/pocket/lighter piece. You can't miss it. Make sure you clean off the metal before you connect to make the best possible connection. Also try to make the wire as short as possible for the best results.
