HELP swapping a LS into a civic
I need some help....I just recently swapped a 99 LS engine into a 99 civic EX. The entire engine is in and it runs. I used the civic wiring harnass but it doesn't plug into the stock LS ECU. The LS wiring harnass doesn't work...it isn't long enough to go into the car. So as of now I have the civic ECU plugged in, but obviously I cannot drive it because I can't go above like 2,000 rpm. What are my options as to what to do?
The harnass going from the engine to the ECU.........I heard that I could get a adapter and get a 94-95 ECU from a LS and it will work....is that true?
what year motor did u put in?
if you put in a 99 ls into your car then putting in an 99 ls ecu should go rite in and run like it should i put a 94 ls swap in my 94 ex ecu plugs rite up to the civic harnnes

My civic is a 99 and the motor is a 99 out of the integra.....the civic wiring harnass does not plug in at all.......I was told an adapter into a 94-95 ls ecu would work....so that's what I think I'm gonna do...hopefully it'll work....
