Has anyone painted their own cars? What air compressor and hvlp paint gun do you use to get the job done right? I will also use the air compressor for impact wrenches. Would the DeWalt 55155 2hp model do the job well? I'm a DeWalt fan but their other higher hp stuff is a little too expensive so I might have to go with a Sears product if the 55155 is inefficient for the job. Thanks.

 

the best gun on the market is a sata i love them as far as a compressor you need somethign with a big tank so your not running out of air while painting

 

Yes, i used a 30gallon tank 10hp?, i think, for mine. I tried using a smaller 1.5hp one but it kept running out of air(keep having to wait).
