you might have to play with the hood latch on making it align right. I did and I know a few other people did, you might have to space out the radiator support with longer bolts and washers. I have heard people say it closed with no problem also.
the headlights are totally different than the US ones ull see when u get em and if ur using the rad support from the EF9 u shouldnt have any problems with the hood not latching
do the lights just go into the stock supports???? or does the conversion come with it????
you will need the washers or spacers only if you use the USDM rad support, the JDM rad support bolts right up and does not need and washers or longer bolts
This is what i noticed...
If the JDM support comes off a B16A clip (SiR, EF8/9), then you need to space it out, or bend it out.
If the JDM support comes off a SOHC clip (EF1/2), then it's bolt on.
There are different JDM radiator supports.

All 89-90 (remember, they are one year ahead of us) EFs have the same front end. 89-90 EF1/2s have the same front end as EF9s. 87-88 EFs have the older body style. Regardless of motor and model, all 89-90 EFs have the same front end! The body style change the with years, not models. That's the way it has always been with Honda. *Halfway thru a generation, Honda likes to change the lights and bumpers.
