tranny problems!!

Default tranny problems!!

ok here we go...
my clutch went out like 3 weeks ago so i decided to do my own clutch change, took the tranny, clutch, and tob out... replaced the clutch, and tob, bolted the tranny back up and everything else.. got in the car started it up, and it wouldnt go in gear!!!.. so i was guessing i put the tranny in wrong....unbolted the tranny again...and now the tranny seems as if it is stuck???? i used pry bars and everything just seems like it wont come out??? i dont know whats going on??any help will be appreciated thx!!

It's probably wedged on one of the dowel pins. Just keep wrestling with it. It'll come off. Just to let you know, you probably had your clutch cable misadjusted. I couldn't put my car in gear too, when it was on. I loosened the cable and voila.

i readjusted the cable like 2 times, loosening it up and tightening it..it still had the same problems, which dowels pins do u think they are stuck on? my tranny doesnt have any guiding bolts, when i had the tranny on and bolted up, the crank pulley barely moved..but it would move with lots of struggle..i just dont know what to do...i need to get the car back on the road by monday morning for school ...thx for the reply

shift linkage was'nt undone was it? when i did my tranny swap i put it in upsidedown.

If you didn't align your clutch right inside the tranny then maybe that could be your problem, I would double check that.
