i have one of these and my stock TB had a nipple on the top that went to a line that went down to what looks like a black plastic catch can (i dont know how else to discribe it) down in front of the passengers side wheel well. Do i need this line??? also what is the thing it goes to??? thanks

 

sorry the thing is on the back of the wheel well near the firewall

 

you talking about the vaccum canister ? if you are talking about the vaccum line that runs from that box to the top of your TB i dont think you need it . i didnt use the line on my 94 rs and it ran fine .
