Question about thermostat housing?

When you are reinstalling the thermostat housing neck do you need to put honda bond on it to seal it?

Always a good idea to put a little bit of extra sealing whenever you can.

I just installed one last night and didnt install any sealant and it worked like a charm, but i would think it would hurt anything for the extra piece of mind.
