I am not sure why it says GS-R on the receipt but I can 100% guarantee that this car IS NOT a GS-R. The VIN # matches that of a Integra Type-R. Here is a pic of the VIN:

man no offense but you'd be crazy to buy a really nice car lie an R that has had the front bumper and rear hatch shaved and REPAINETED, let alone the whole engine opened up and messed with.
22,000may be ok for 12,000 miles and an orig motor, but I dunno on this one.
And the car has 28,000 miles not 1200.

Just to back up the seller (my friend).
The oil was contaminated. There was a sugar based substance found when the oil was sent out for testing. The owner of the ITR is in a law suit right now with Exxon Mobil and the place he bought the oil from.
If you'll look at the receipt he paid for a new block & head out of his own pocket, not under warranty. The car is in good shape and well maintained. Pulls nicely.
And who the hell would convert a non ITR to and ITR by redoing the whole car inside and out?!
Anyways. Free bump, and clarification.

they'd convert it, but if you were tryin' to sell the car you wouldn't say it's an ITR.
because for one thing you'd have to have all the engine codes match.
the one on the dash, the one on the door
the one on the motor, and the one on the firewall would all have to.
if you buy a new motor you will not get the same vin# as the rest of the car.
anyways.
it's an ITR anyone else who thinks other wise is on drugs.

Here to back up the seller as well. I was a witness in the case for the oil contamination.
In response to the trite remarks concerning oil contaminates ruining an engine, yes it is very possible and very easy for improper lubrication to ruin the internals of a motor. If the mystery liquid responds different than oil under extreme heat and pressure then it is very likely that it doesn't allow for the same tolerances that the motor was built for. Tolerances too close => engine parts rub => metal shavings / scratches on internals will be evident, as happened here.
And to the guy saying you'd have to be crazy to buy a car that has had its front end "repainted" and engine "messed with": This car has never been in a wreck but you wouldn't think of it as such a strange case if the car had been rear-ended and needed the bumper replaced. When small parts of a car are repainted, they are spot painted and then clear is run all along that edge of the car, meaning the entire hatch / bumper was NOT painted. You either dig or don't dig the look of it and the fact of the matter is that the work is flawless.
In response to the motor being messed with, parts were replaced straight from the factory by honda technicians, is there any other way that this situation could have been handled better? I definitely think the car is worth every bit of what he is asking but that's only bcs I know its history and how well it was cared for.
As for people doing full ITR conversions, i'm sure someone in their right mind purchased an integra without a sunroof to do a full motor swap, interior swap (with badge on armrest), 5-lug conversion with wheels, and paint job with shaved side moldings JUST to save negative money. The dealer obviously put GSR on the receipt by accident (or perhaps just didn't have it listed). Some common sense here people--the VIN# matches up for pete's sake!
Seriously, why always the negative attitude / fraudulant claims towards posters ?? Let people post up their goods for sale without being under the scrutiny of every uninterested buyer on the board. Hopefully potential buyers can see through the pile of BS most people post here.

it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that this car is not a lemon although the color might be the closest thing to it
nonetheless
do not judge the book by its cover
this car has that clean look to it
wings west sides
wingless
shaved emblems
clean interior
