New Rotors/Pads
I just currently got some brembo slotted rotors for front and rear along with some new OEM brake pads.
Heres the question: After installing everything, i noticed a weird sound from the rear like the sound from someone dragging a cinder(sp?) block on a cement floor when I press the brakes.
But one of my friends said to it was the sound of breaking in the brake pads and rotors. He told me to speed up to 50 and gently slow down to 10 mph and speed back up about 10 times and then let the brakes cool down then repeat a little later.
So the sound went away and now everything seems fine.. Has anyone experienced anything like this before???
Also are the brembo rotors always going to be pretty clean? I noticed the new brake pads are smearing black stuff over them, but it doesnt look bad.. Im just wondering...
Any input would help. Thanks.

Ok everything seemed fine until i heard as if something is being hit.. I cant really tell if its the rotors or not of if a brake line is being hit.. I can brake just fine with no shaking..
Any ideas?
