I usually try do use about 1 liter, but I have another bottle there just in case. If I don't break the seal on the last bottle, I just keep it for next time. But with 3 cars that's never more than a year away...

How many of the same answer do you need? Buy 2 liters just in case, you will use anywhere between 1/2 and 1 liter depending on how efficient you are with it.
