so this guy gave me his "AEM CAI" but he said he cut it off to make it a short ram for a reason i dunno......

im not sure if its AEM but i just set it up to the main airbox cuz it was just a pipe and a airfilter...

question is wat are those two holes coming out of the AEM pipe? how should i closed them off? should i just give him the pipe back?

ones for your breather tube, the other is for your IAT sensor.

 

these two holes? one is for the iat sensor..i believe thats what its called...and ones for the other thing pictured....im not exactly sure what its called..im pretty sure you want the iat one but the other one can be replaced with a little filter that comes off of the back of the valve cover

but i got a question...your intake is going into your fuel injecter thingy PGM-FI and on mah 96 DX it doesnt have that it has this big ol airbox..and thats wat i hooked it up too....what should i do? hook it up to that or take the box out?

Your throttle body is positioned differently from the VTEC motors. the AEM intake you need would point up from the TB and go all the way down to behind the bumper or wherever you want the filter.

so i guess i should get another pipe or like an extension through the TB right
