and just came withe boot itself minus clips and grease. My delima is the following: The Acura dealership is across town and I live near a Honda dealership. Would it be possible to order Honda clips from an Accord or Prelude that would fit the diameter of my Acura boot?

probably.... scope out the parts at the honda place...not 100% sure, but can't imagine why not.

 

i order parts for my R from a Honda dealership all the time, shouldn't be a problem for them to get a hold of the parts

 

u can get one for a 99-00 si. you can get those from another parts strore

what are you doing the inside or the outside joint?

if it's the outside joint you will have to take off the inside joint to change the outside boot.

Dood, it is much easier to just replace the whole halfshaft.
That's what it is called right, I get confused between calling it halfshaft or driveshaft etc...

 

off course it is much easier. but it's only like a half hour more time to just replace the boot. plus it is alot cheaper to replace teh boot. imo
