Default Question about OEM JDM HID -

I know that the 98+ spec ITR had the HID as standard, what about the 96+ spec. Didn't they have HID as an option. How was it setup since they still had the large ABS accumulator/pump?

Is there anyone on the board who is using OEM HID with the larger 94-97 ABS accumulator/pump?

I'm pretty sure it was 98+ only that had HID. In fact that's probably why they changed the ABS pump, to make room for the ballast, and so USDM cars also got the revised pump.

i have a 96 and i have the jdm oem hids.. i had to cut the hell out of the bracket that holds the abs pump.. then i had to leave it unbolted and get a friend to pull it towards the car while i pushed the headlight into place... it wasnt fun but i somehow managed to make it look good... ill post pics soon..
