Default What size rims to give it that "low" look!? Help me out. *pics*

Hey, i was wondering, im gonna be gettin some new rims soon. Right now, my car is dropped, i think about 1.5-2 inches, im not sure cause the *** holes as the "mechanics place" when i went to get it inspected changed my springs without telling me to something not so low cause of state regs.

But anyways, here is the question. What size rims should i get to make my lovely rex have that "low look" as in like little to no hub gap without rubbing. I was thinkin between 15-17's, mostly lookin twords like 16's.

Here are some pics for people to look at and determine what the right size would be. Hopefully i have given enough info for everyone. Peace!

16's sounds good... 17's might be a bit big, it will probably make your car look higher actually...

Are those pics from before or after your springs were installed?

After, why the =[ face? Im gettin some new coil overs too. Well around here the roads can be a bit bumpy, if i got 16's would it be so low that it would hit the ground, or would it actually be higher than it is now with 13's? Any reccomendations on rims, i was thinkin silver slip streams or somethin.

15s are perfect, 16s look better but have a harsher ride, 17 would probably look too big for your car unless you lowered it again.

i got 16's on my crx and i dont think you can go anything bigger than 16 unless you mod the fender or something. 205/40/16 with an offset somewhere around +42 works good.

i run 16x7 rim with 205 45 16's which is the same size as the 205 40 17's in diameter...Id suggest some 16" rim with 205 40 16's...get a rim that has the spokes goin all the way the lip ie TSW revos...they will look bigger than they really are and will make ur car Look lower...rims such as rota slipstreams will look smaller since the spokes are short and fat..

Umm this sounds kinda illegal/fishy to me. Because

A)They didn't tell you they were gonna do it?
B)Just happened to have some springs (for your model car!) laying around?
C)Kept the old springs??

Seems like maybe they wanted to make a buck and sell them to a friend and gave you a bullshit excuse to throw some stock springs from whatever car on your car.

Hopefully i'm wrong about all this but then again you didn't really go into specifics of the situation.

i agree 16's are the biggest you want on a crx, 16's or 15's.

seen a crx the other day, with, you won't believe it, well you might, it looked hideous, 18's, yes 18's, no kit, and stock heigth.. But it actually looked like it had a Lift Kit on it, it looked like a 4x4 go kart

As for the crx in the pics, that sucks what they did, thats fukd up. I got a ? for ya though, i noticed you had shaved your side moldings, and it also looked like your side skirts were molded on, which looks great.. What kit is that, wings west, something else? I'm curious to know, b/c i was thinking about having my side moldings shaved also, but want to know what skirts those are?

Anyone have some nice pice of 15's on their crx? 16's? If i got 16's would i want to lower my car more? IM gettin coilovers, so either way, could i give it that "low" look if i got some nice 16's?

Also, about the question that was asked about my body kit, im not sure what kit that is on my car because when i bought it, the guy had already put it on, i love it though. He told me it was a Mugen Replica, so im assuming maybe the wings west would look pretty close to what i have. I really love my car, soon as i get some new rims ill take some better pics!
