launching a 5th gen lude sh
ok, before i get the gary coleman gif, i did a search. the only lude launch topics i found were for boosted ludes.
i have a 2000 SH with intake and exhaust. i can shift, corner, and drive well. my problem lie's in the launch. everytime i launch i jack it up. either too much gas, not dumping the clutch fast enough, dumping it too fast, stuff like that.
right now i rev to about 2000 - 2500 before i launch. that seems to give me least wheel spin of all, just a quick chirp if anything.
i seem to bog the damn thing out all the time. i will get a good reaction to the light, then after the inital jolt off the line, bog, bog bog, for about 5 -10 feet, then go go go.
i need to lose the bog bog bog. what am i doing wrong here. i know its hard to tell without being in the car while i do it, but any suggestions would be apreciated.

wrong forum. try the drag racing one.
Keep your revs at a consistent rate under 3k RPM. Let the clutch out quickly, but don't dump it and keep the gas pressure the same. Once you start gaining traction then give more gas. That's what I do in my del Sol and it works well enough.
