Just installed a Type R tranny recently..
Tranny is awesome, can't believe how much smoother my acceleration is.
Anyways, I'm hearing one weird sound coming from the passenger side... if I'm in ANY gear, and I slowly let off the gas at slow speeds I hear like a rubbing sound.. definetly doesn't sound like metal - but only when I decel.. soon as I even tap the gas again it goes away, what gives? Also, I've taken it out of gear while it's making the noise and the noise goes away..
really hoping it has nothing to do with the tranny, and if it does at least nothing major as this just replaced my fucked up GSR tranny
- any chance it can be shocks or springs or something??

Check to make sure that your passenger side axle is in all the way.
Aside from that, check to see if anything is rubbing with on your brakes.
