d series crank help ??

Default d series crank help ??

I got a call from the machine shop today they said that my crank from the d16a6 is too far worn to use i have a d16a6 crank and i was wondering if it would work i dont really see why not but im giveing it a shot. Will this work??

what cranks are diff as far as d series?

I'm assuming you meant to say that your spare crank is something other than an A6.... I would stick with an A6 crank personally, I know the A6 has a slightly higher volume than the other "1.6's"

did you mean the z6 crank is too worn and you want to use the a6 crank?

you can always ask the machine shop to spec both cranks to see if there is a difference.

this is going in a d16z6 with a1 pistons y8 headgasket and peened z6 rods
