Default zc intake manifolf

I am putting a zc engine in my 89 crx si. and the engine is all wired up and ready to go in. But i am confused about something on the two intake manifolds. On my si manifold ther is a small part on the back left side of the manifold. And it has a hose that goes to the top right of the intake manifold. This part also has a plug that goes into the wireing harnest. Well when i look at the zc manifold it only has a hose port in that logation. And it dosn't have anything on the top right side of the manifold. Do you guys know what this part is??? Is it something i really need??? I need to know
thanks

I don't know if this helps or not, but when I put an Si manifold on my std civic, There was no wiring to plug in that piece, and everybody told me it wasn't needed. It's been running for 9 months without the plug with no problems.
