Default Should I cut the bumpstops on my Tokico blues?

I am planning to install Tokico blues on my CRX this weekend. It is lowered with Neuspeed sports and Monroe struts, with camber kit front and rear. The ride is very bouncy (like a pogo stick), so I'm figuring it's the struts. However, I didn't cut the bumpstops on the Monroes, so this might be the problem. But my question is, should I go ahead and cut the bumpstops in half before I install the struts? Or do you think they will be okay with the full bumpstop? Thanks for your replys.

How much did you lower it? I would think anything over an inch and you should trim down your bump stops.

the neuspped sports are 2.25' f 2" r, the spring rate is:275 lb/front 225 lb rear; that may account for some of the bounciness, I have these & I wish I would've gotten stiffer springs.

When i installed tokico blues on my car, it came with shorter bumpstops already so i just used that. I was lowered with H&R sports.

for the best ride/performance. i would trim the front down to about an inch, and leave the back in there. on my civic hatch, the struts are shorter in the front than the rear, it looked like hydraulics with full bumpstops. happy tuning
