have 16, 17, or even an 18in wheels, with sport tires in the back and the stock, hubcap-less wheel in the front, other than lookin foolish, why do yall do it? i might slightly understand if these cars were rear wheel drive....................but sorry.......

 

pretty ghetto...but some people do this for reasonable reasons. One is that they were racing recently / are about to race and do not want to burn their good tires and smaller wheels help with the launch.

 

or.... just dotn wanna waste there good tires at all and this and that usually its the cheap way

sorry i mess with lowriders, my girl drives an itegra and i just see that aournd my way, and i know they aint racin em, unless you consider have a header and intake under you hood and 50 stickers, speeding off from a stopligt racing????

well as you kno, integs don't need traction in the rear... most of (actually, all of) the power comes from the front two tires. imagine the smaller diameter and lighter weight.... less wheel spin, and more traction.... you car is basically dragged by the front two.... many people do thing because they've probably came back from a (street) run, or getting prepared in case of one. we've been doing this here in L.A. for a long time now. now that you kno i guess you can do this and/or explain to others why.

I know back in the day when i had my old car... I had Dunlop SP Sport 9000s on my rims and the front tires wore down pretty quick. They got to be almost bald, and it was the rainy season. I didn't have the money at the time for 2 new tires, so i just threw on my 2 stockers up front. i definately didn't do it to look cool, there was just no other choice for me.

 

if you want to get technical (and from the phrasing/vocabulary you were using, it seems you want to sound like you are), unless it's an ITR or fitted with an aftermarket LSD, [most of] the power goes through one of your front tires, not two.
