Default Pro detailers: How to clean acrylic (plastic)

I have a set of headlights that do not have the traditional glass housing but rather a plexiglass/acrylic type housing. One of the lights is clear like the OEM unit should be, the other has a light yellowish haze to it. I have compounded both sides of the plastic with a plastic cleaner but it only helped a little.

Any ideas welcome!

thx

One thing I'd try is wet sanding...with a VERY fine grit. 1200-2000 grit (only if I could find it :mad.

Otherwise, I'd just get a whole new one. My friend's car has this problem. It may be from condensation.
