thx guys for the comments and compliments the gusy other work looks good he is only hooking me up cuase i helped him on his pc stuff ima pc geek and gfx artist so i helped him hes hooking me up in return he does good work. but im thinking of staying with blka dn getting hella clear coats and a final blue pearl clear coat what do you think on that?
You can't buy quality paint for $200 even if you got a really good discount. The only way I'd go through with the paint job is if this guy owns a body shop. With body work you'll get what you pay for. Nice car btw
i have the hook ups man dont be worried about the price of it just let me know wich color to use
thx everyone for helping with my decisions what do you guys think on that blk pearl clear coat idea?

I was able to get a discount on my paint and its bottom of the line PPG and it was a little under $200 for just the paint. I painted my car Championship white w/ gold pearl, its very similar to the cadillac paint. If i remeber the Caddy paint is also tri-coat meaning that its base white, then the pearl coat which is usually basically a clear w/ pearl and then you have the clear coat. And unless this guy is a bad-*** painter, he will stripe the pearls. Its very hard to spray pearls, you have to very consistent with your overlap and coverage. You can't fog coat with pearls either to cover up your ****-ups. And if you lay them to wet they will sink and you will loose the effect w/ the pearl
I can tell you from the painters i've dealt with that anyone that respects their work will not do it for that cheap, bottom line.
I understand this guy is trying to help you out, but its not worth it, you'll **** your car up with a shitty paint job.
Just don't do it unless your completly confedent and realize what it takes to get it done right.

no kiddin, my friend paid $550 for the paint and materials used on his car, and that was him buying the stuff himself and taking it to my friend and letting him paint the car.
*edit* and this was just for basic base coat and clearcoat paint, New Formula red plus the clear.

Hey, if there's nothing wrong with your paint then don't bother! Your car looks great, and I can attest that a car is never the same after it has been painted. It's just not worth it unless you have paint problems.
