itr vs comptech rear sway bar upgrade
hi guys,
after writing a post entitled "how do i improve my integra's handling?" several users suggested i install an integra type-r rear sway bar. however, it appears that installing a type-r rear swaybar on an integra ls often results in the swaybar ripping out of the chassis. comptech has a sway bar / tie bar kit for $400.00(http://solar.innercite.com/comptech/140100.html) and i'm wondering if this is the best way to solve the problem. thanks.

welcome to honda-tech. the topic of the type r sway bar has been beaten to death. do a search for bsq and you will find how to solve the tear out problem.
the itr sway bar is a nice upgrade but its really a band aide to a much larger wound the itr handles alot better not just bercause of that rear sway bar so take that into consideration.
All of the OEM parts needed for the ITR swap can be had for $96 shipped. Add the BSQ, beaks or homemade (I made my install kit for < $2) install kit.
It's a great upgrade.
