I would really like to see a how to on rolled fenders because I did mine but it still rubs and I think I can still get some more roll out of it but not the way I did it.

I used a baseball bat to roll mine. Started with the thinnest part of the bat, and worked my way up carefully

It worked for me. My Azenis were rubbing all the time before I did it. Haven't rubbed since. I don't like doing it, but it was necessary.

What do you mean? Did you just hit the lip of the fender with the bat or what??

I was retarded and ran 215/40/17's before I was aware of the civic rubbing problem, rub a dub dub, it was rubbing in front and back. Rolled the rear and it still rubbed, rolled the fronts and it rubbed, sold the $1100 rims for $650 and it didn't rub anymore. I should've kept the rims and bought coilovers, probably would've saved me the money I lost on the rims.

So how does this fender rolling work?
I want to do it but I don't konw what way to bend the tab part. I'm guessing you just bend it up and out of the way.

This side is rusty

so do i just roll that part up?

what is the bnefit of rolled fenders?
so your tires will not rub your fenders, or lining.

I have 205 azenis on my car with a +40 offset rim and it rubs I riased it up a little but it rubs under hard turning.

Who has no fender lining? And what are the pro's and con's of no lining?
Pro's- Tire will have more room before it rubs the fender since there are no liner screws
con's- Dirt will get in to the wheel well, (however couldnt you just hose it out whenever you wash your car?)

Any others thanks alot!

My car used to rub bad, but I just removed the front lining and I was set. No more rubbing. I have pretty wide wheels too. You do get some dirt in the wheel well, but oh well. I have not seen any downsides to no lining yet. Just make sure you keep some lining down by the intake filter.

unfortunately they are pretty damn expensive.

somewhere over a thousand.

on vwvortex, someone ends up buying the tool, and renting it out for other people to use.

For those of you that did roll, what setup do you have? Is this only a problem for 16+ wheels and lowered? I plan on getting 15's and lowered, will this rub?
