Using msd rpm activator as my v-tec controller. Wiring Help needed.
Ima use the rpm activator as a temp solution. i have a 4700 and 4900 rpm pill for my sohc d16z6 motor. in my 1991 crx si.
how do i wire this thing up? i tried search nothing came up.

well you'll end up getting an ecu code for one (if you have a vtec ecu). i've heard you can hook up a resistor to replace the spool valve to fool the ecu. then its as easy as taking the output of your msd and hooking it up to the spool valve. you'll have to read the instructions to find out what it outputs. it most likely outputs a ground, in which case you'd have to hook one side of the spool up to +12v, and the other side to the msd unit. if it outputs +12v, then do the opposite.
