Some Q's for you Integra owners
Right now my system is completely OEM. In my house I have an almost new Eclipse 5341R out of my old 93 Accord with the wiring harness still attached. I seem to remember that the wiring harness I as going to buy for the Integra also listed my 93 Accord. Are they in fact the same?
Also, I'm looking at the system wiring diagram in my Helm's manual and it looks like both the door mid and tweeter combo is fed a full frequency signal (no capacitor is listed in the diagram). Is this accurate? I intend to replace the OEM door speakers with a component set of similar size, and I would like to mount the crossover behind the door pannel and use the wires to the mid as the source wires. Is this what you guys did? I really don't want to have to run a new set of wires through the door jam, since that was a bitch in my Accord.
Finally, can you guys recommend a quality dash kit for the Ingetga? I had a custom kit in my last car, so I don't have a lot of experience with the dash kits. But, I know there are some cheap ones out there that I would like to avoid.
Thanks for any help.

Yes the plugs are the same.. For your crossover, you can use the factory wiring for the signal and hide the Xover behind the panal. The door sizes are 6 1/2 and a tweeter. The tweeter has a built on mini cap even if it is not in the manual, but you won't need it with the Xover.
About the dash kit, why dont you iso mount it meanin that you screw the new radio into the housing that held the old radio. That way you don't use a kit and you get to keep the pocket underneath. An it looks a lot nicer too.

As for using the original housing, I have no reason not to do that except that I didn't know you could. I have never had an OEM stereo with that pocket below that would accept a new head unit without a kit. This one does? Is it pretty straight forward? Thanks
