Default DC5 type r cams

Would type R cams work for a base RSX? Would there be any problems, or am I just not thinking straight right now?

yup between that and the really low redline you would probably see little to no gain

so you are saying I could put them in? What if I had the hondata ecu flash and I/H/E setup? You still think it wouldn't add much power?

you would probably also need K20A/A2 valves, springs etc to rev that high safely (8.5-9k)

i dont think there is taht much difference between the heads. im pretty sure you could do it. it would make a big difference. but highly recomend the valve springs and retainers

I though u couldnt do it , due to the fact of the i vtec being only on the intake cam of the EP/base RSX. The Rs having exhaust and intake ivtec.
