i was installing my springs when my friend said the longer springs go in the front with the longer sleeve so i listened to him and now my back springs are bottoming out sounds like **** and rides like **** so im wondering what is the truth....what is the combo that is correct the shorter springs with the shorter sleeves up in front or the way i have it now??? please help??? i got a 99 civic hatch with ground control coil-over sleeves..
To my knowlegde......i've lowered both my cars and a few of my friends cars...everytime the shorter ones have been on the front and the longer ones are in the back......if u take a look at your stock springs I think the rears are larger and longer.....hope this helps
Yeah, you have them on backwards the shorter ones go up front and longer ones go in the rear. the way you have them is most definit wrong!!!!!
Well, GC ships out their OTS kits as front stiff/rear soft so find the stiffer springs and put them in front. Maybe I have a bad memory but I thought my Integra kit had the same size all around.
Though, I don't understand why you're bottoming out. Have the perches all the way down?
