Default diff betw Element motor and TSX the same as diff betw Type-S and Si???

Just got an Element, and was thinking about this. Am I correct that the diff between an EP and DC5 is that the EP only has i-VTEC on the intake side??? And would this same analogy be the same with the TSX and the Element?

In other words, what I am thinking about is putting a TSX or DC5 head on the Element bottom end, and squeeze out a lil more power. I'm also unsure of the compression ratios for these motors as well, since this is my first K series

I asked this here only because I'm sure there have been others who already thought about putting a TSX or Element bottom end on their DC5/EP.

Thanks for your help.
