changing fuel pump on 6th gen

do i need to take it out under the car?(just like 5th gen) or i just lift the carpeting in the trunk to get it out?

lift the carpet in the trunk and you will see a silver access panel. it's maybe 6inches across and pretty much round.

release the fuel pressure from the system before you open it and disconnect the battery as well. you don't want any sparks

you'll get away with it 999999 times out of 1000000, maybe more, but there is that one time....

I'm not particularly interested in dying in my garage, so I'm kind of a safety freak.
