Default Civic Si and RSX intakes

Beings that the civic si shortrams are grossly overpriced, does anyone know if the rsx base or type s intake will fit the 03 si?

Thanks,
-Ed

*And don't just tell me to get a cold air intake either.

should no prob --- but not the type s ones --- obviously -- diff engine...

only thing is you get the wrong carb sticker ---

Order a DC Sports DAC for about $160 --- the RSX/Si are identical part numbers but different carb numbers...

Type S one is the one that should fit since you share the same intake manifolds.

hmm if they have diff carb numbers and can fit the same cars do you think, suposing i got pulled over, that id be illegal if they ran the numbers and came up with CRAB exempt for only the RSX, if i had an EP?

EP3 = RSX block/head
EP3 = RSX-S Intake manifold

Kind of like a hybrid setup.

at first (when the Si first came out) I thought it would have the exact same setup as the base rsx until I saw one at the dealers...
I wonder why they decided to utilize the rsx-s intake manifold in the Si... any ideas?
