differences between CTR headlight and USDM oem headlight

like the topic says... i need to knw the differecnes between the two...other than the painted housing what else is different?

what about physical characteristics. like can you tell from the outside. like on my headlights there are three stripes going across the front of it. is it the same with the ctr's?

oh yeah, CTR headlights don't have a headlight bulb reflector cap thingy...

and what does it matter how many lines there are on the glass?

it doesnt matter to me... i was just curious to see what the big difference between the two where.

i was wondering if the Canadian Civic came with the City light or not? i remember reading somewhere that all of canadas cars are required to have Citylights.

I have 96-98 JDM ek4 SiR headlights on my car. They are the same as CTR's, the only thing else besides what these guys said that is different is, the reflectors on the inside of the housing are different. The USDM headlights have a different reflector where the bulbs go.

ctr headlights have gunmetal housing, city light socket, clear reflector, and no bulb difuser. if i ever find out how to upload and post pics, i would post pics of ctrs on my hatch.

Here's pics of CTR headlights on my old hatch. No reflectors, no bulb diffuser. Has gunmetal housing and city light.

I thought the glass had a tint to it also, on the CTR lights.. could be wrong.

wasn't it like no tint on some years, tint on others...

Oh I do know that JDM headlights will be angled the other way, so they point towards oncoming traffic over here.

No cars here in Canada are not required to have city lights.
