jsut came back from the track tonight
not happy with my times. the best i did was a 15.1 @92mph and it spun entirely through 2nd gear i couldnt get any traction. 60 ft tiem was horrible too at 2.4. any tips on how to improve 60 ft times?????

depends on what your set up is, waht kind of tires, motor, ecu, things like that can help ppl help you better
b18b with I/E/clutchmasters clutch in a 95 ej coupe. bout to do some major wieght reduction in the car getting it ready for the next time i run.
Tires would definitely help. Also, you might want to adjust how you let the clutch out or the rpm at which you launch at. On street tires you could try to let the clutch out slower instead of dumping it. I know it can be frustrating waiting for the tires to hook up.
BTW - a 15.1 @ 92 is pretty much on par for a b18b. It's not bad. If you get your 60 ft times down you'll be running pretty good.

Practice driving. You should never "spin through all of 2nd" with your setup unless you suck at life and get all nervous and floor it when you feel your tires initially break loose. In fact, you should hear a little bark and nothing more when shifting from 1st to 2nd with the engine and mods that you're running. People with turbo b18c's don't spin through all of 2nd...
The best mod you can make is a better driver. Lightening your car will only hurt your case if you don't know how to drive.

damn freak out dude...
. Coupes are heavier than most hatches except for the si because it has all of the extra power features and stuff that makes it heavy.
