brake problems
I just got my rear brakes fixed today at big-o tires, (the shoes were cracked and down to 20%), and now when brake the pedal pushes down alot further, and for 2 or 3 inches it feels like the pedal isnt doing anything at all. before i took it in the brakes were much more responsive and i didnt have to push the pedal down nearly as far. any idea what is causing this?
it sounds like 1 of 2 things
1. When they were installing it they accidentally pushed out the wheel cylinder (happens all the time)
2. The didnt adjust the shoes right (but this wouldnt really make the brakes feel as if not applying, only the handbrake will go all the way to the top)
ask them to bleed the lines
