major tune-up or b16a swap?
well the car is a 91 ls with, 167,000 miles on it and i am thinking of getting a major tune-up replacing anything that needs to be changed.
the motor has some internal problem and i think it could be the piston rings or the valve guides which leaves oil in the #4 cylinder. car starts fine and drives normal, but when i turn it off after driving it and start it again between 5-20 min after shut off it blows white smoke and sputters for a few seconds then its normal again. btw i have replaced spark plugs already. should i go ahead and rebuild it or go and swap over to b16? i can get the swap done for under 900 bucks so i think i'd rather do the b16 swap. what do you think?
