Well I bought a set of McCulluch HID for my 01 lude and the bulbs are just a bit too long. Does anyone have experience with modifying the reflectors to get the bulbs to fit?
Thanks,
Daniele DeFranceschi

g-garage said to bend the reflector down.
I'm against that idea though... What's the beam pattern going to be like with bent reflectors?

They said to bend the reflector? Did they give any reason as to why the bulb does not fit? And what about the light distribution? I would return it if I were you.

nope, they gave no reason as to why they don't fit. BUt you can see by eye that they are about 3/4" longer. (Yes, they are the correct H1 HID bulbs for sure...).
They told me to adjust the beam pattern after I install them to compensate.
This kit is going back... G-garage said they have heard of this happening on 5th gens, but on their 98 they fit perfectly???
Anyone else have this problem with the McCulloch kit on a 5th gen Lude?
