whats a good exhaust fo a rsx type s? something that looks good and sounds good with a loud sound?

I have had the hayame cat back exhaust and it has not dissapointed me at all. Nice deep tone to it, and it's quite around town will doing daily driving. But once you hit vtec it screams like a banshee. Go to http://www.clubrsx.com, they have a few sounds clips of each exhaust to better help you out. Good luck bro.

My friend has 02 RSX type-S and he has I/H/ and a Tanabe Hyper Medallion exhaust. It is extremely quite, you can hardly even tell it has an exhaust. The noise from the intake drowns out the noise from the exhaust soo much. He's had it for 2 months, so its well broken in. I think that the Greddy sounds pretty good. I also heard that Mugen's twin-loop is now available. I have an ek with a JDM b16 and a Mugen twin-loop, its pretty loud. It's low and deep until about 4500 rpm and after that it gets pretty raspy.

 

Kakimoto GT1.0Z or Fujitsubo RM01A are very nice!!

 

i have the dc tc exhaust and its quite around town but is loud in the topend. I also have a hi flow cat and the dc header which makes it a little louder.

 

I bought the comptech cat-back and it is by far the deepest and throatest exhaust I've heard for the rsx. Only downside is I paid 700 for it, but i've been impressed.

 

I have a greddy evo, it sound badass especially with the test pipe and looks clean.
