you could do a lot of set ups

all motor
1.8
or upgrade to
2.0
ls turbo

or put together a ls/vtec set up

personally I own 3 of them

A little of topic but how did you fit a H22 into a 84 CRX?? That must have been a project! Plus that year was carberated! Do you have any pics of the setup?

to be honest i have nothing left of the car i can see if i have anypics. i was in college and in walking distance of hte school so the car was worked on slowly for like 2-3 months . i had convert it to fuel injected, nad a TON of other things. i wouldn't recommend doing ever again. i used the axles that came with the engine. in the process i broke the joints and i ended killing the tranny. so i drove it for about 8 months then it fell apart on my so i converted it all back to stock.
i would ever do it again

also the 1st gen crx had a larger engine compartment then the second gen and they were lighter. the largest engine you can put in a fist gen is a 3.2l tl acura engine. a major task about as bad as hte one i did

All that work and it fell apart, that sux. It must've been real fast when you had it tho. Did you ever run the 1/4 in it?
