Default Oy Vey! I fried my guage cluster!

You think I could solder on a wire and try and fix it or should I just get a new one?

If I just soldered a wire from one part to the other it might work, I might as well try I guess.

The problem it causes is the temp gauge and the gas level needle are sort of going up and down. I replaced my thermostat and put in new coolant. I drove around and had the same problem. I can touch my radiator and its cold and the fans work great. My car can sit for about 5 minutes and the header is cool enough that I can touch it and it doesn't burn me. So I know the engine is running cold. It just annoys me thats all!

Well I did a battery in the trunk thing a few days ago. All I can think of is that some of my stuff including the starter got fried. Perhaps from the a pos grounding or something.

Here is my fix, I'm going to go out and test it...

B4 you plug it in your sure that those two place go in line with each other right??? Follow where the wires go and if that are in line with each other they should be fine...

I have the same problem, I am honestly not sure what I did. But I just soldered a piece of wire to connect the path and everything works.

Heres a rundown of what broke on my car...

-Did battery in the trunk, worked fine for a day.
-Came outside next day car wouldn't start, wouldn't crank and wouldn't kick start.
-Replaced the starter and still nothing.
-Messed with the clutch sensor wires and then got it to crank.
-Wouldn't start but it had fuel and spark.
-Cranked it and finally it started ran fine for several hours.
-Temp needle and gas level needle would jump around.
-Replaced thermostat, didn't stop that needle.
-Remembered puff of smoke I saw come from around the gauges when I tried to start it, found fried wires.
-Made a jumper for it and it worked.

At the moment my wiper relay is sort of messed up, other than that everything seems fine.
