Default Just painted lettering on JRSC...now what to keep from peeling?

I painted the lettering on my jrsc by using the ol' vasoline trick that others use to paint valve covers...the paint that i didn't apply the vasoline too is dry and looks good, but i'd like to keep it from peeling after a while and a few heat cycles under my hood. What can i do? is there somesort of heat resistant clearcoat i can apply? thanks.

What kind of paint did you use? If it is hight temp paint, it should last on its own.
But there are some hight temp clear products out there if you want extra protection. shoot me a PM for some links.
