Default Quick question: RE---> altenator on a B & Dseries motor

well i just found out that i need a new altenator in my EF. My question is this:

*can i use my D16 antenator on a Bseires motor?
*will it bolt up & plug up?

I don't want to waste money a new D16 altenator if i can't use it on a Bseires. If that is the case than i just get a 30 on from the junk yard..(since my car is in storage & barely driven)

No, it will not bolt up without modification to the bracket. Tried that last year with my b18c becaused my bseries altenator didn't come with plugs.
