Recommend to do/change/fix on 98 accord??
Hey everybody. I need some help. What would yall recommend to do to my accord? Like change the timing belt? water pump? etc...I'm at 86k miles right now. I would like to know what is recommeneded to fix/change? Thanks in advance.
Haynes or Helms manual.
I have never done either myself but from what I have read you may need an impact wrench to get the the nut off the crank pulley.
Do a seacrh. There has been a lot posted on these topics.

timing belt reccomended interval is 105k
Do the water pump and balancer belt at the same time
yes the crank pully bolt is a bitch to get off

the rest of these aren't necessarly on an 86k(or even 90k) interval, but you should do them soon if they have not been done yet
change the tranny fluid
change the brake fluid
change the coolant
adjust the valves if they are making noise, otherwise just leave them alone
replace the plugs
you may want to replace the plug wires as a precaution as well. 100k is typically about when they start to loose performance.
change the In cabin micro-filter
clean the throttle body
clean/replace your engine air filter
check all your wear items: brake pads, CVboots, tires, etc
your owners manual should have all the correct intervals listed in it
