Default Compression turning over problem????

Should you be able to turn over a motor with the timing belt on and spark plugs in?
and have no trannie on? D-Series issue, No plugs - turns fine, w/plugs feels like i got mad compression, but then why would I not be able to turn it with the plugs in,
Me turning with everything in is like im acting as a starter? Right? Fucked up motor or just my head?

your head . when the plugs are in it`s like the motor is doing it`s compression stroke . then it fires. leave plugs out for now . no damage
