Default difference between 94-5 and 96+ p72 ecu's -how to tell?

i found a p72, but dont know which year it is, how do i know if it's obd1 or 2??

look at the part number,p72 ao1 is 94 to 95
a02 is 96 to 97
a03 is 98
a04 99 to 01

i found a p72, but dont know which year it is, how do i know if it's obd1 or 2??
OBD 1 ecus have the plugs all close together, no space between the plugs... OBD 2 plugs for the ecu are seperated, and more spaced out... If your car is OBD 2, and the ecu plugs in (doesn't matter if it starts or not) then it's OBD 2... HTH...
